CARD VIEW

For teams knocking out technical items, the card view allows for easy updates with the Kanban methodology. Tags are used to clearly color-code tasks, and custom fields can be displayed on the card preview specific to organization needs.

AUTOMATION & RULES

Rules provide the resources to automate certain processes based on user input. In the below example, the rule will move a task to a completed list automatically once a user completes the task. This allows teams to take as little action as possible while still executing an organized workflow.

TASK DETAIL

Tasks in Trello have countless possibilities for tracking and automating information. Teams may have a workflow that prescribes exactly what detail to log in the task, and automations can change task behavior based on this information.

TRIGGERS

Custom triggers allow for automatic communication within company communications and tickets such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Jira. If a task is becoming due soon and no action has been taken, an alert can be posted to the appropriate teams to escalate the issue so nothing falls through the cracks.

BUTTONS

Automation buttons allow for the user to take action in an easy and automated way. In the below example, the button can be used on a task that will add the task to the Backlog list, add the sprint owner to the task, and label the task so another team member can know to assign the task to a sprint.

CALENDAR & TIMELINE VIEWS

High-level stakeholders often prefer a more general overview with less noise. The calendar view allows a stakeholder to easily see tasks that have been completed as a part of a calendar. The timeline view displays the tasks in each list in order of date to simply view what's going on right now.

CUSTOM REPORTS

All project data can be exported to Excel where the reporting capabilities are endless. Transform raw Excel data into engaging project dashboards via Excel macros, PowerBI, Tableau, and more.
